A warm welcome awaits you from your hosts Gloria & Keith.
Gloria has high tea down to a fine art. Upon request she will arrange a time to serve you High Tea on the waterfront deck or in the ocean-front dining room during your stay. Tea is served in the Victorian style - fine china, silver and lace. ($25 per person)
Keith makes his daily commute into downtown Victoria each day mostly by motorcycle and occasionally by bicycle, where he works in radio and telephony telecommunications. He is happy to take guests on a guided bicycling tour or to just give pointers in biking or hiking the many local trails. A canoe is also available to guests on a courtesy basis.
Gloria and Keith love to share the view from their home: 5 miles separation from the lights of Victoria enables you to star-gaze under the romantic skies of the Pacific North West from the 1500sq ft deck, the backyard or along the beach. With with advance notice Keith is pleased to share views through his 8" f-6 Newtonian reflector telescope (inherited from his father). Those who share Keith's astronomical interest can tour the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory, a short 20 minute drive away.
