NightSkies you can canoe the lagoon, hike through an old-growth forest to a
castle, bike the Galloping Goose Trail - all without getting back in your car !
At the end of the day, relax with a cup of tea on our deck on the shore of the
migratory bird sanctuary.

Hiking and Biking

Galloping Goose Trail -
this map shows the parts nearest to NightSkies. Also you can download
the
CRD
Official Guide to the
trail in pdf format. You must have Adobe Acrobat reader installed on your
system in order to read the guide.

The
Esquimalt Lagoon ** - be
sure to plan at least an hour or two relaxing and watching the view from
NightSkies deck. Or get up early and as your canoe floats on glassy water
you can mingle with the swans, geese and sea birds, the ocean and
snow-capped Olympic mountains as your backdrop.

Visit local wineries. Here
is a map showing wineries found within a 35 minute drive of NightSkies.

Roads University and Hatley Castle
** - a walk from NightSkies. Spend an afternoon touring the castle and
viewing the lovely gardens and grounds.
